Marvel D.A.G.G.E.R.

Nefarious forces threaten the world as we know it, and it's up to a small group of heroes to come to its rescue. With the enemy's minions closing in and innocents in peril, our heroes will need to work together to stop the villain's plans and save the world — but will they be able to save it in time?

In Marvel D.A.G.G.E.R., players work together to challenge the forces of evil. Play as iconic heroes like Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Black Widow, and race across the globe to complete missions, battle enemies, and square off for the final showdown against the nemesis. Choose the best aspect for your hero, pull off awesome combos, and wait for the perfect moment to unleash your ultimate ability. Team up with your allies and take on dangerous threats as you become the greatest heroes in the world!

In more detail, "D.A.G.G.E.R." stands for "Defense Alliance for Global and Galactic Emergency Response", and the "Alliance" and "Emergency Response" elements drive how the game is played, with heroes needing to strengthen themselves via combos in time to take on the nemesis.

There are two types of combo tokens: empowered tokens and primed tokens. When a hero becomes "empowered", they can later discard their empowered token to add one success to any attribute test they perform. When an enemy is "primed", a hero attacking that enemy can remove a primed token from them to add one success to the attack result, which means more damage dealt.

What's more, each hero has at least one "combo ability" that requires either an empowered token on themselves or a primed token on an enemy to trigger. Triggering these combo abilities comes with an extra benefit: advancing the team-up track, a resource shared by all heroes that's used to pay for "team-up abilities", the strongest abilities in each hero's arsenal.

—description from the publisher

Outnumbered is a cooperative math strategy game for 1-6 players. Waves of oncoming minions are advancing, each one showing a number on it. On each player's turn, they will roll 3 dice, then use math operations and their "Hero Power" create the values shown on the minions, defeating them. Minions will continue to appear and move down the board, defeating the players unless they are stopped in time. Players also have the opportunity to earn Bonus Cards by targeting specific minions, and must withstand Events that will increase the minion forces.

Marvel Fluxx

Fluxx is a card game in which the cards themselves determine the current rules of the game. By playing cards, you change numerous aspects of the game: how to draw cards, how to play cards, and even how to win.

At the start of the game, each player holds three cards and on a turn a player draws one card, then plays one card. By playing cards, you can put new rules into play that change numerous aspects of the game: how many cards to draw or play, how many cards you can hold in hand or keep on the table in front of you, and (most importantly) how to win the game.

Marvel Fluxx features the gameplay of Fluxx and characters and events from the Marvel Universe.

Note that the Looney Labs edition of the game includes seven additional cards and a collector's coin used in gameplay; these cards won't be included in the edition from Cardinal Games, but will be sold separately by Looney Labs.

Marvel Villainous: Infinite Power

Dominate the Marvel universe as an iconic comic book villain! Each villain follows a unique path to victory; each uses different abilities to face other villains and mighty heroes from across the universe. Choose Thanos, Hela, Ultron, or two other villains to be announced soon and fulfill your dark destiny!

In Marvel Villainous: Infinite Power, players move their villains to different locations within their domain, carry out the actions there, and deal twists of fate to their opponents from a shared fate deck. Three different game modes allow players to scale the difficulty of their game by facing more or fewer events — situations that extract a heavy toll on villains until they are resolved the only way villains know how. Specialty cards add to each villain's ability, making them even more formidable as more specialty cards are played. With beginner and advance options, this game is an adventure for the whole family!

Smash Up: Marvel

The "shufflebuilding" game Smash Up begins with a simple premise: take the 20-card decks of two factions, shuffle them into a deck of forty cards, then compete to crush more bases than your opponents! Each faction involves a different gaming mechanism, and each combination of factions brings a different gaming experience.

In Smash Up: Marvel, players smash up two groups of Marvel characters, such as the vigilant members of The Ultimates or the criminal masterminds HYDRA, to take over bases and score the most victory points. Mix and match the different decks of heroes and villains to see which combinations can best defeat the others! This game allows for fans to create stories that have never existed in the Marvel universe. What combo will you choose?
