Stardew Valley: The Board Game

A cooperative board game of farming and friendship based on the Stardew Valley video game by Eric Barone. Work together with your fellow farmers to save the Valley from the nefarious JojaMart Corporation! To do this, you'll need to farm, fish, friend and find all kinds of different resources to fulfill your Grandpa's Goals and restore the Community Center. Collect all kinds of items, raise animals, and explore the Mine. Gain powerful upgrades and skills and as the seasons pass see if you're able to protect the magic of Stardew Valley!

The goal of the game is to complete Grandpa's Goals and restore the Community Center, which requires you to gather different types of resources represented by tiles. You have a fixed amount of turns to accomplish this. This is driven by the Season Deck of 20 cards, one of which is drawn each turn to trigger certain events. Cooperatively the players decide each turn where they will focus their individual actions and place their pawn in that part of the Valley. Using their actions, they visit specific locations, trying to gather resources to complete their collective goals. Actions include things like: watering crops, trying to catch fish, rolling dice to explore the mines, and many more. When the Season Deck is exhausted, the game ends.

Dawn of Mankind

In Dawn of Mankind, the people of your clan move along paths, gather resources, have children, create art, discover new methods of doing things...and eventually grow old and die. As your clan goes through these ordeals, you need to pay attention to when your food is going to spoil and where other people might want to go because if they choose the same path you've already trodden, they may inadvertently help you along your way.

You earn points for a variety of things, and whoever has the most points in the end wins.

The Joker

Gotham City’s most heinous Super-Villains have descended upon the city, all determined to rule the metropolis once and for all. Most of them are in it to corrupt the city and gain points, while The Joker sends Gotham City further and further into anarchy with each passing round, slightly altering the way the game is played.

You are secretly one of these Super-Villains, filling character wallets with Corruption Cards worth positive or negative corruption points. Throughout the game, players can eliminate wallets from the game, sending the caught Super-Villain to Arkham Asylum. Each round, The Joker will cause anarchy and change the rules for the next round! At the end of the 7 round game, everyone will score bonuses for any players they eliminated, and, if not eliminated themselves, will reveal their Super-Villain identity and add any corruption points contained in their Super-Villain’s wallet.

Tenpenny Parks

A game of Tenpenny Parks is played over five rounds, called months. Each month players take turns placing workers on the gameboard to take actions like removing trees, building concessions and attractions, and buying more property in order to make their growing theme parks as attractive to visiting people (VP tokens) as possible. At the end of each month, rewards are given to the player with the fairground that best exemplifies certain raw emotions, and after five months the player with the most VP tokens wins!
