Card Drafting

Beyond the Stars: Alpha

Beyond the Stars is a quick drafting game about exploring the galaxy. Amass your crew, gather resources, make discoveries, make contact with civilizations, fight monsters and face the unknown.
The game is meant to be played with 3-4 players and the goal is to acquire the most points by the end of the game. Every Crew Card will have a “play” rule set and a “keep” rule set. The “play” rule set will be relevant for rounds while the “keep” rule set will only come into play at the end of the game when calculating final points. The winner of the game is the player with the highest points after "play" and "keep" points are totaled.

The Capitals

The world's most famous capital cities didn't just appear overnight. It took careful planning, resources, and time. Now, new countries seek to build great capitals of their own, and you are challenged to create a city unlike any other – but with each new era comes new challenges, and you must be prepared to make important decisions. The winning player will earn the right to host the next World Expo, but that's a prize reserved for only the most prestigious city.

The Capitals is a city-building game unlike any other, featuring new and creative game mechanisms. Cities take many years to build, and The Capitals requires players to plan ahead to create their vision. Playing over three eras, from Victorian to Modern Day, players are challenged to build a capital city that can compete with the world's best but also stand the test of time. With over one hundred unique buildings to construct, no two cities will ever be identical.

What story will your city tell?

Nidavellir

Nidavellir, the Dwarf Kingdom, is threatened by the dragon Fafnir. As a venerable Elvaland, you have been appointed by the King. Search through every tavern in the kingdom, hire the most skillful dwarves, recruit the most prestigious heroes, and build the best battalion you can to defeat your mortal enemy!

Each turn in Nidavellir, bid a coin on each tavern. In descending order, choose a character and add this character to your army. Each dwarf class has its own scoring way: blacksmith, hunter, warrior, explorer, and miner. A meticulous recruitment will allow you to attract a powerful hero to your army.

You will also be able to increase the value of your gold coins thanks to the smart "coin-building" system, and get the best of the other Elvalands.

Meadow

Meadow is an engaging set collection game with over two hundred unique cards containing hand-painted watercolor illustrations. In the game, players take the role of explorers competing for the title of the most skilled nature observer. To win, they collect cards with the most valuable species, landscapes, and discoveries. Their journey is led by passion, a curiosity of the world, an inquiring mind, and a desire to discover the mysteries of nature. The competition continues at the bonfire where the players race to fulfill the goals of their adventures.

In this medium-weight board game for 1-4 players, you take turns placing path tokens on one of the two boards. Placing a token on the main board allows the player to get cards, but playing them requires meeting certain requirements. Playing a token on the bonfire board activates special actions (which helps to implement a chosen strategy) and gives the opportunity to achieve goals that provide additional points. Throughout the game, players collect cards in their meadow and surroundings area. At the end, the player with the most points on cards and on the bonfire board wins.

Meadow also includes envelopes with additional cards to open at specific moments...

Edge of Humanity

"We never saw it coming. Were we the one who fired first?" He asked himself as if it even mattered. The night’s sky, red as always, made him sigh. He felt lucky to even be alive, but can you even call this a life? "Is it time to move forward? Is it time to rebuild? Is there even a point?”

After a worldwide conflict that led to a chain reaction of events, civilization as we knew it ceased to exist and humanity is now at the brink of extinction. In this apocalyptic future, a group of survivors will try to raise hope for the human race by establishing a new civilized inception.

In Edge of Humanity, 2-5 survivors try to get enough Survival points (SP) to win the game. The game takes near 30 minutes of play and introduces a new take on deck-building, drafting, and hand management. The survivors explore and try to collect enough resources and draft new survivors to maintain their everyday living. They encounter each round of play a new event that may affect many facets of their upcoming rounds of play.
